The Riffids is a collective of Sheffield rock bands working together to build a good time for everyone involved. The Day of the Riffids is a show at the Plug on the 2nd of May organised exclusively by the bands for the people, at which seven stunning Riffids acts will appear. Leading up to this are a series of gigs at the Dove and Rainbow (and a few other awesome venues) showcasing a different Riffid band each week. We're also producing a compilation CD to support The Day of the Riffids and are going to grow this to monstrous proportions. This is your invitation; come inside and let's go!
